About Our Current Director
The Director of the IDHR is responsible for providing strategic leadership and overseeing all operational aspects of the institution's research endeavors. This includes defining the research agenda, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, securing funding, and ensuring the highest standards of academic rigor across all projects. The Director also plays a crucial role in representing the IDHR to building partnerships, and promoting the dissemination of research findings to advance knowledge and impact relevant fields.
Fun Fact: the IDHR Director also participates in active research and all activities, just like anyone else in our company!

Say hello to Mrs. Rose'Melania Markov, who took the reins as Director of the IDHR in July of 2025! If you're looking for someone who sees history like a grand mystery waiting to be solved, you've found her. Mrs. Markov isn't your average researcher; she brings a truly unique and vibrant approach to her work, thanks to an absolutely amazing background.
Imagine someone who's delved deep into pharmacy, forensic science, Roman art, history, and archaeology, philosophy, and law! These knowledge allows her to connect dots that others might miss. On top of all that academic credentials, she even has hands-on experience from the world of electoral politics in the major US 2024 Presidential Election.

Mrs. Markov is also a talented author, having penned the book on her experience participating in the United States political world This Path We Walked. And guess what? She's currently busy with her upcoming books, With All That Remains and To Far, Far Away. She's even written papers to champion her beliefs and share her incredible research findings.
Mrs. Markov has a deep-seated passion for history, mysteries, ancient lores, and all things investigative. This drive fuels her dedication to unearthing the stories of the past with super innovative research methods. She is also captivated with the history and art of the Roman Empire.
